sewing machine, and at the other end the big boys, capable of sewing with
threads and thickness's of webbing that would make most sewing machines
weep.
With the electronic machines, Dowlings
Sewing Machines have chosen to supply machines produced by Brother, almost
certainly the current market leader in this type of machinery. From even
before the act of purchase, Dowlings can advise on the correct class of machine
for the application, program sewing patterns, 'in house' using the latest
Brother PC-300 CAD system. Produce material clamping systems in our own
workshops, and further more provide support with spare parts and needles from
stock, fitted by trained engineers if required.

sew repetitive patterns reliably and quickly, the electronic programmable
sewing machine has given the webbing industry a means to quickly and
effortlessly sew together webbing straps and restraints with complex and
aesthetically pleasing patterns in a matter of seconds. This in turn
giving a product that is consistent in specification and high in standard of

| In terms of sewing capability, Dowlings firstly presents the
Seiko SLH range of machines. Based on the Singer 7-, complete with
walking feet, the Seiko SLH range has the added facilities of back tack, and
higher foot lift to allow thicker work to be presented to the machine.
Capable of sewing with threads to Metric 6, and work to a thickness of
25mm the SLH has few competitors. |

| Following closely behind the SLH is the TH. By no means a
poor relation, the TH is a bit more of an all rounder in the heavy department.
Available in various formats the most popular the TH-8B, is furnished
with walking feet and needle feed and has the abillity to sew at the lighter
end with an M20 thread, through to Metric 8 on materials up to 20mm thick.
