Formed in the early sixties, Foundationwear Machinery Specialist Ltd (FMS) specialises, and continues to supply sewing machines, special parts and fittings for the bra and Corsetry trade, we also provide, due to a long association with the bedding industry, the same service for manufacturers of mattress's and bedding.

In 1990, FMS purchased Dowlings Sewing Machines to compliment the founding company and bring in expertise in the heavier areas of textile production, supplying Seiko sewing machines to manufacturers in areas such as military tentage, lorry side curtains, vinyl leisure equipment, commercial upholstery and curtains, safety and equestrian products.

Now forty years on, the two companies combine their knowledge of the past with the technical advances of todays sewing machines to try and solve the many and varied requirements of our customers, both here in the U.K. and abroad.
